Share Your Testimony

If not you then who, if not now then whet. hand lettering quote on ...

If you have a testimony to share, please share it with others. I think we all benefit from the encouragement. I do not think Adonai waste His time on anyone! If He has done a wonder in your life, be His witness and testify. If you are sharing your testimony don’t forget to encourage another brother or sister to share theirs. We know He is alive, He rose from the dead! As He continues to reveal Himself and shows us His power, might, majesty, forgiveness, and love we must remember to tell our stories.

Below is a poem written by my father on 8/9/2005. My father has a testimony of experiencing the God who gives, but also takes away; which left him in a place to learn to depend on God. We could never do anything too big or too small for God, it all matters. The point is we all do our part, we never know how God’s impact in our lives will impact the next person. This poem is just a very very very small glimpse into a story pact with one learning to surrender, depend, and trust the Lord with one of the most fragile, lonely, and tender encounters with life.

Forgive

He gave me a gift

A gift of song I give to you

Words of joy

Words of pain

And words of love

Did you feel the emotion?

Did you feel the love?

See I’ve learned through love to forgive

Cause I thank you Lord for all,

All my joy, for all my pain

Cause I learned through love and hard times to forgive

Yes, I learned to forgive

Can you learn to forgive?

They scorn and mocked Him

Yes, they scorn and mocked me

He forgave me

He forgives you

We got to forgive one another

Have you ever lost your way?

Have you ever made a mistake?

Maybe not, but I have – and I know that He loves me

Have you ever fell so low?

Have your chains held you down?

Maybe not, but I have – and I know that He loves me

See I’ve learned through love to forgive

And I thank you Lord for all,

All my joy, for all my pain

Cause I learned through love and hard times to forgive

Yes, I learned to forgive

Can you learn to forgive me?

They scorn and mocked Him

Yes, they scorn and mock me

See He forgave me

He forgives you

We got to forgive one another

He gave me a gift

A gift of song I give to you
